It’s only supposed to take five minutes to learn the whole thing or the machine sequence or navy is broken.

I always wondered how they got the timing down on these flyovers. Knowing that there was (obviously) someone in the stadium talking to the aircraft, I always incorrectly assumed the jets were in a holding pattern much closer, maybe 30ish seconds away, which *could* make it seem more doable if the cue was "And the rockets' red glare" or wherever that would fall in the timing. I was quite wrong and I'm that much more impressed. Thank you for sharing this, Pail. Love the channel!

He's also a "retired" USNJROTC Lieutenant or Lieutenant Commander (I've forgotten which) and was his unit's XO. I say he's "retired" because they made him graduate high school! See ya!

I was an AE from 2000-2008. I deployed on the Enterprise in 2001 (9/11 cruise) with F-14As and the Nimitz in 2003 with F/A-18Es. With the Tophatters VF14 and then VFA14. Flight decks are crazy hectic but crazy cool. Thank you for the content😊

Well im guessing tje computer selects this for the idiot. Or tje master arm has this function for the lewis black type idiot. Fuel in pounds. Ahhh big machine no gallons. Notifications like direction. Targeting reticle over lay. Lock in radar. Targer acquiried as in multiple locks. Let me guess lile rhe apache the head movement with glonass gps motion amd array of integrated sensors. Uhh hmm sensor array. Linled to ohh ground machine movment. Like tanks and digital space in real time. Lile digital battle space integration. Ohh IDK reapers like that. Autonomous wingmen. Eye tracking. Tactial interface like codes and waypoints etc. Miles to Tango target. All sprts of good shit. Warnings missle , perhaps direction of incoming, radar locks on said jet. Ohh flame out lile check engine. Out of ammo. Bimgo fuel. Can not loiter long. Speed oh air speed yup. Landing gear down. Ahh parking break. Anythiing amd everything. Gs , terrain Wake up knocked out idiot. Ofcourae in flight there are systems that may or may not pull up ! Idiot. Stuff a person would do ohh in better aircraft. Well these days to be fair more iconic battle tested nose on stuff. Yeah something like that.

Wow! That was awesome. Thanks for all the info. I fly small single engine airplanes. I’m 69 years old. Start flying when I was 60. I spent 21 years in US Air Force but when I joined, I was too old to fly then you had to be 27 1/2 by the time you completed school and when I joined I was 23 so I would never make it. I did complete four years of college first and school so I would’ve done it. Thank you.

DUDE ! I’m a former USMC C-130 driver x-fer to VP65 Point Mugu while an AA Capt at LAX We did a DET at Whidbey - it’s the BEST! Navy sent me to Whidbey to Navy Maintenance Officer School It has a KILLER judo school too. It IS GOD’s country . There’s a hidden Buddhist temple - in gojnf back there “signature move ❤” better life then CAT shots Great NAVAIR & Tourguide 😂
